    　空氣凈化活性炭是活性炭的一種，是優(yōu)質(zhì)活性炭經(jīng)特殊處理，用于專(zhuān)門(mén)凈化被污染的空氣，所以叫空氣凈化專(zhuān)用活性炭。只有硬度大、強(qiáng)度高、孔隙為微孔的活性炭才能作為空氣凈化活性炭。果殼炭、煤質(zhì)柱狀活性炭都可以做為空氣凈化炭原料，其中椰殼活性炭效果最佳。

　　空氣凈化活性炭是選用多種化學(xué)藥品精制而成的浸漬活性炭，能夠吸附空氣中的有味、有毒及各種有害氣體，廣泛用于空氣凈化器(機(jī))、過(guò)濾器、空調(diào)、電冰箱等設(shè)備中。
