管道電加熱器采用數(shù)顯溫度調(diào)節(jié)儀、固態(tài)繼電器和測溫元件組成測量、調(diào)節(jié)、控制回路，在電加熱過程中測溫元件將管道電加熱器出口溫度電信號送至數(shù)顯溫度調(diào)節(jié)儀進行放大，比較后顯示測量溫度值，同時輸出信號到固態(tài)繼電器輸入端，從而控制加熱器，使控制柜具有良好的控制精度和調(diào)節(jié)特性。利用聯(lián)鎖裝置可遠距離啟動、關(guān)閉管道電加熱器。

使用前首先檢查電源線、測溫元件輸出連線正確，控制柜元器件、螺母松動損壞，如有異常及時擰緊或更換，確認無誤后可通電試車。主要步驟如下：

1、合上水管道開關(guān)，電源指示燈亮，數(shù)顯表控制燈亮并顯示所測溫度指示值。

2、溫度設(shè)定好之后，如無異常情況即可按下“加熱器工作”按鈕，交流接觸器吸合，固態(tài)繼電器進線端得電，由數(shù)顯控溫表所輸出PID信號控制加熱器工作。初次開機時，可能出現(xiàn)溫度過沖現(xiàn)象，但逐漸趨向恒定范圍之內(nèi)。
